Committee Hearing Schedule Announced


Washington, Mar 21 -

Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s hearing schedule for next week.

Tuesday, March 25 at 10 a.m. – The Financial Services Committee will hold the first of several planned hearings focused on the threat posed by America’s rising national debt.  Tuesday’s hearing will focus on “Why the Debt Matters.”  Additional hearings in the series will be announced at later dates.

Wednesday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m. – Treasury Secretary Jack Lew will appear before the committee to deliver the Secretary’s annual testimony on the state of the international financial system and reform of the International Monetary Fund.

Both hearings will take place in Room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building and will be live streamed on the committee’s website.
