Committee Schedule for the Week of May 18


Washington, May 18, 2015 - Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s hearing schedule for the week of May 18.

Tuesday, May 19 at 10:00 A.M. - The Housing and Insurance Subcommittee will conduct an oversight hearing of the Rural Housing Service.

The hearing will take place in room 2220 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Tuesday, May 19 at 1:00 P.M. - The Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee will continue the committee's examination of data security and cyber threats with a hearing entitled: "Protecting Critical Infrastructure: How the Financial Sector Addresses Cyber Threats."

The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Wednesday, May 20 at 10:00 A.M. - The full committee will mark up several bipartisan bills designed to streamline regulations and help small businesses and small companies access capital markets so they can grow and create jobs.

The markup will take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Thursday, May 21 at 10:00 A.M. - The Task Force to Investigate Terrorism Financing will hold a hearing to examine the dangerous connection between terrorism, crime, and corruption.

The hearing will take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
