Committee Hearing Schedule for the Week of February 29

WASHINGTON - Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s hearing schedule for the week of February 29:
Tuesday, March 1 at 2:00 P.M.- The Task Force to Investigate Terrorism Financing will hold a hearing on helping the developing world fight terror finance. The hearing will examine the extent to which technical assistance relating to combating terror financing is coordinated on a global level and ways to improve such assistance.
Wednesday, March 2 at 10:00 A.M. - A full committee markup of multiple bills designed to promote access to capital and help reduce regulatory burdens on Main Street small businesses. The committee will also markup legislation to remove regulatory barriers that hinder homeowners’ flood insurance options.
All committee activity will take place in Room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Additional information, including a list of witnesses and live video of the proceedings, will be available on the Committee’s website.
