Media Advisory: Committee Hearing Schedule for the Week of February 13

Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s schedule for the week of February 13.
Wednesday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m. – Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen will appear before the committee for the Fed’s semi-annual Monetary Policy Report to Congress.

Thursday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. – The Housing and Insurance Subcommittee will hold a hearing entitled “Assessing the U.S.-EU Covered Agreement.” The hearing will examine the covered agreement reached between the United States and the European Union on Jan. 13, 2017 and its impact on the domestic insurance market and policyholders.
All committee activity will take place in Room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Additional information, including a list of witnesses and live video of the proceedings, will be available on the Committee’s website.
