Financial Services Committee Announces Schedule
Washington, Feb 8 -
Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus announced the Committee’s schedule for the second half of February.
All hearings and mark ups will take place in the Committee’s main hearing room, 2128 Rayburn. Witnesses for the hearings will be announced at later dates.
Wednesday, February 15:
The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will examine the budget of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The hearing will begin at 10 a.m.

The Financial Services Committee will meet at 10 a.m. to mark up legislation that strengthens the financial health of the FHA, reforms the nation’s largest housing voucher program, and harmonizes the definition of “homeless person” in Federal law so the Department of Housing and Urban Development can better estimate the number who need housing assistance and services.
Wednesday, February 29:
The Financial Services Committee will receive the semi-annual monetary policy report from Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. The hearing will begin at 10 a.m.
