Hearing Schedule for the Week of July 6

Committee to Hold Dodd-Frank Five-Year Anniversary Hearings Throughout the Month of July


Washington, Jul 7 -

WASHINGTON- Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s hearing schedule for the week of July 6th.

Wednesday, July 8 at 1:00 P.M.- A Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee hearing to examine the designation and regulation of Bank Holding Company SIFIs.

Witnesses:

Thursday, July 9 at 10:00 A.M. – The first in a series of Full Committee hearings to examine the Dodd-Frank Act on its five-year anniversary. This hearing will focus on the stability of the financial system.

Witnesses:

Friday, July 10 at 9:45 A.M.- A Housing and Insurance Subcommittee hearing to conduct oversight of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Public and Indian Housing Programs. Witnesses will be announced shortly.

All hearings will take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Additional information about each hearing will be available online at republicans-financialservices.house.gov/.
