Committee Schedule for the Week of July 20


Washington, Jul 21 -

Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s hearing schedule for the week of July 20.

Wednesday, July 22 at 10:00 A.M. - The Monetary Policy and Trade Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine proposals to reform the Federal Reserve. This hearing follows recent hearings held by the committee calling for more transparency and accountability at the Federal Reserve.

Wednesday, July 22 at 4:15 P.M. - The Task Force to Investigate Terrorism Financing will hold a hearing to hear from experts on the impact the recent nuclear deal with Iran made by President Obama will have on the financing of terrorist operatives.

Thursday, July 23 at 10:00 A.M. - The full committee will hold a hearing entitled “Ending ‘Too Big to Fail’: What is the Proper Role of Capital and Liquidity?”

Friday, July 24 at 9:15 A.M. - The Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine the operations and budget of the National Credit Union Administration.

All hearings will take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Additional information about each hearing, including a list of invited witnesses, will be available online at republicans-financialservices.house.gov/.
