Committee to Examine HUD, Consumer Choice and Financial Independence Legislation This Week

Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s hearing schedule for the week of June 8:
Thursday, June 11 at 10:00 A.M. - A Full Committee hearing to examine the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s budget, operations, and programs.
Witness: Julian Castro, Secretary, Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Thursday, June 11 at 2:00 P.M. – A Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee hearing to discuss legislative proposals to help preserve consumer choice and financial independence.
