Media Advisory: Committee Hearing Schedule for the Week of April 11th

WASHINGTON- Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s schedule for the week of April 11:
Wednesday, April 13 at 10:00 A.M. – A full committee markup to consider cost-saving measures as part of the House Republican FY 2017 budget.
Thursday, April 14 at 10:00 A.M. – A Capital Markets and Government Sponsored Enterprises Subcommittee hearing entitled “The JOBS Act at Four: Examining Its Impact and Proposals to Further Enhance Capital Formation.” This hearing will examine four legislative proposals which promote capital formation, reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens, and expand investment opportunities to build on the early success of the JOBS Act.
The Committee’s schedule remains tentative and will become final only when the official notice for each hearing is distributed. All committee activity will take place in Room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Additional information, including a list of witnesses and live video of the proceedings, will be available on the Committee’s website.
