WASHINGTON – Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s schedule for the week of Sept. 19:

Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 10:00 a.m. – The Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance will hold a hearing entitled “The Future of Housing In America: A Better Way to Increase Efficiencies For Housing Vouchers and Create Upward Economic Mobility.”

Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 2:00 p.m. – The Subcommittee on Capital Markets and Government Sponsored Enterprises will hold a hearing entitled “Corporation Governance: Fostering a System that Promotes Capital Formation and Maximizes Shareholder Value.”

Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10:00 a.m. - Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew will testify before the Financial Services Committee regarding the Annual Report of the Financial Stability Oversight Council.

Thursday, Sept. 22 at 2:00 p.m. – The Subcommittee on Capital Markets and Government Sponsored Enterprises will hold a hearing entitled “Examining the Agenda of Regulators, SROs, and Standards-Setters for Accounting, Auditing, and Municipal Securities.”

Friday, Sept. 23 at 9:15 a.m. - The Subcommittee on Monetary Policy and Trade will hold a hearing entitled "The Financial Stability Board’s Implications for U.S. Growth and Competitiveness."
