Today, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Financial Services, announced the following hearing schedule for the month of February:
February 18 at 12:00 PM ET: The full committee will convene for a virtual hearing entitled: “Game Stopped? Who Wins and Loses When Short Sellers, Social Media, and Retail Investors Collide.”
February 24 at 10:00 AM ET: The full committee will convene for a virtual hearing entitled: “Monetary Policy and the State of the Economy."
February 24 at 3:00 PM ET: The Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations will convene for a virtual hearing entitled: “How Invidious Discrimination Works and Hurts: An Examination of Lending Discrimination and Its Long-term Economic Impacts on Borrowers of Color.”
NEW DATE: February 25 at 10:00 AM ET: The Subcommittee on National Security, International Development and Monetary Policy will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, "Dollars against Democracy: Domestic Terrorist Financing in the Aftermath of Insurrection."
NEW DATE: February 25 at 2:00 PM ET: The Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets will convene for a virtual hearing entitled, “Climate Change and Social Responsibility: Helping Corporate Boards and Investors Make Decisions for a Sustainable World.”
For virtual hearings, all Members and witnesses participate remotely with no in-person participation in the hearing room.
