Today, the House Financial Services Committee will consider Democrats’ H.R. 4863, the United States Export Finance Agency Act of 2019, a partisan bill to reauthorize the Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank. This comes after Democrats walked away from a bipartisan reauthorization deal that would:

  • Restrict American taxpayer backed financing of the Chinese Communist Party.
  • Take meaningful action against China’s rampant human rights abuses, military aggression, and masterplan to dominate the global economy.
  • Focus American Ex-Im Bank resources toward the technologies of tomorrow to compete with China’s export credit agencies and protect jobs and workers here at home.

Why are Democrats passing up this opportunity?

Why won’t they work with Republicans to find a long-term reauthorization solution that addresses the generational threat posed by China?

Why should the corrupt Communist Party of China receive financing backed by the American taxpayer?
