McHenry Statement on House Passage of Additional Paycheck Protection Program Funding

The top Republican on the House Financial Services Committee, Patrick McHenry (NC-10), issued the following statement after the House passed the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act:
“More than two weeks after Republicans called for the Paycheck Protection Program to be replenished, we’re finally delivering what our small businesses have been pleading for. The demand for this program is unprecedented and these loans are vital to keeping workers on payroll. While this is an important step, we need to recognize it is not a question of ‘if’ this program will run out again, but ‘when.’ We must remain ready to work together to address additional needs.”
