McHenry Re-Elected to Serve as Republican Leader of the House Financial Services Committee
Washington,
December 3, 2020 -
Today, Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) was re-elected by members of the House Republican Conference to continue to lead the House Financial Services Committee as Ranking Member. McHenry released the following statement after his re-election:
“It’s an honor to have two more years as the Committee’s Republican leader. Over the past two years, Republican Committee Members have delivered on our commitment to innovative solutions and pro-growth policies to support American families and small businesses.
“From the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Committee Republicans responded immediately to ensure this health crisis did not become a financial crisis. We know there is more work to be done, and I am committed to working with my colleagues to return our nation to a roaring economy.
“Republicans have a clear alternative to Democrats’ government-first agenda. I look forward to leading in the Financial Services Committee to provide solutions, opportunity, and support to the American people.”
