Chairman Hill, Committee Leaders Request FDIC Share Data Relating to Deposit Insurance Framework

House Committee on Financial Services Chairman French Hill (AR-02) and Republican Committee leaders sent a letter to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Chairman Travis Hill asking for more data related to deposit insurance reform. In the letter, Republican Committee leaders request that the FDIC answer a series of questions on deposit insurance data so that Congress can better understand the current data available and the FDIC’s capacity to fully estimate the feasibility and impact of various proposals.
