MEDIA ADVISORY: Committee Schedule for the Week of May 11


Washington, May 8, 2015 - Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) today announced the committee’s hearing schedule for the week of May 11.


Wednesday, May 13 at 9:30 A.M. - The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold a hearing entitled “The Dodd-Frank Act and Regulatory Overreach.”

The hearing will take place in room HVC-210 of the Capitol Visitor Center.

Wednesday, May 13 at 2:00 P.M. - The Capital Markets and Government Sponsored Enterprises Subcommittee will hold a hearing to continue its review of proposals to enhance capital formation and reduce regulatory burdens.

The hearing will take place in room HVC-210 of the Capitol Visitor Center.

Thursday, May 14 at 10:00 A.M. - The full committee will hold a hearing entitled “Protecting Consumers: Financial Data Security in the Age of Computer Hackers.”

The hearing will take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Thursday, May 14 at 2:00 P.M. - The Housing and Insurance Subcommittee will hold a hearing to survey the costs and benefits of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule.

The hearing will take place in room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
