Chairman Hill Statement on Senate Passage of 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act

House Committee on Financial Services Chairman French Hill (AR-02) issued the following statement after Senate passage of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act: “Today, the Senate took an important step in the legislative process. This Congress, the House has passed bipartisan legislation to empower homeowners and renters, strengthen communities, and foster more affordable choices for all Americans. It is critical we get the details right and mitigate some of the concerns raised by House members with the Senate bill. I hope the work Senator Scott and I have done together can eventually become law, and I look forward to working with all parties to achieve a bicameral success that will bring down the cost of housing and benefit the American people.” ### |
