House Committee on Financial Services Chairman French Hill (AR-02) and Housing and Insurance Subcommittee Chairman Mike Flood (NE-01), issued the following statement on President Trump’s Executive Order removing regulatory barriers to affordable home construction:

“We commend President Trump acting to address the underlying issues that are driving up the cost to build new homes. Many of the objectives laid out in this EO closely align with the bipartisan work that our Committee members have been working on this past year.
