Chairman Hill on Thune Filing Cloture on Housing for the 21st Century Act

House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill (AR-02) issued the following statement after Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) filed cloture on the Committee’s Housing for the 21st Century Act:

“In his State of the Union address, President Trump made clear that reclaiming the American Dream for families was his top priority. Senate Majority Leader Thune’s action today is an important step in delivering that promise. It is imperative that my Senate colleagues work with the House to deliver a bipartisan housing bill to President Trump’s desk – one that reflects the shared priorities of the House, Senate, and White House.”
